COMPANY HISTORY

Paul Ravensbergen grew up in a pastry shop in Holland learning the craft of baking at an early age. After 4 years of full-time formal training at a pastry school, he worked for 2 years in one of the best Dutch pastry bakeries, eventually returning to his family baking industry where he remained there until 1975.

From there he started a new company, Goldstream, which manufactured industrial baking ovens. The firm had 2 production plants in Holland, with customers all over Europe. In 1984, Paul turned the successful company over to his son and moved to Canada, where he formed Ravensbergen Bakery Supplies Ltd.

Today, RBS specializes in importing high quality baking ingredients, accessories and equipment from European manufacturers and Paul is continually researching Europe and other parts of the world for new products. This dedication to continually improving our product line and upkeeping the RBS name makes it possible for our loyal customers to produce "top-quality" gelatos, ice creams, desserts, chocolates, cakes and tortes.

RBS can ship to anywhere in the world. We offer next day deliveries and if customers contact us before 9.30 in the morning, same day delivery is available.

From ice-cream machines to pastry cutters RBS has all you need to produce desserts, chocolates and ice-creams. We have the ability to fully set up a new ice-cream shop, small or large, with ingredients, tools and machines, even providing training to make top of the line gelato.
